RadioGenesis is a Dutch AI-native biotech that designs radioligand therapies, a class of cancer drugs that carry a radioactive payload straight to tumour cells. It combines generative AI, protein engineering, radiochemistry and physics to design these molecules computationally, then tests the best ones in the lab.
A COMPUTATIONAL ENGINE FOR RADIOPHARMACEUTICALS
Radiopharmaceuticals target metastatic cancers that have spread through the body. Only two tumour types have an approved targeted radiotherapeutic today, so most indications remain open. RadioGenesis designs tumour-seeking peptides de novo with molecular foundation models. It then ranks them in silico on binding, stability, solubility and toxicity, and feeds lab results back into the models. The platform is isotope agnostic. It starts with Actinium-225 and Lutetium-177 and can pair molecules with other isotopes.
THE INVESTMENT
Auxxo Female Catalyst Fund invested €0.70 million at Pre-Seed in 2026 and €0.95 million in total. Galion.exe led the round. IBA (Ion Beam Applications), Arcas Ventures and the STAK syndicate, which includes Golden Egg Check and TK Partners, also invested. RadioGenesis has raised €4.5 million to date. The fund carries the position at a €19.5 million valuation.

FOUNDERS AND APPROACH
Ashley van Heteren and Marnix Koops founded the company. Ashley van Heteren previously worked as a partner at QuantumBlack, McKinsey's AI arm. The team has built a design stack that runs Design, Predict, Filter, Test and Learn in a loop. It plans to treat late-stage failure modes such as toxicity and manufacturability as design constraints from the start, not problems to fix later.
