DOUBLING DOWN ON A BETTER BOWL

Petgood is reinventing pet food from the ground up, insect-based, lower-impact, and built for both the planet and the animal eating it. The Swedish company is tackling two conservative categories at once: what people feed their pets, and how that food gets made. Course Corrected VC Fund I saw the opportunity early, leading Petgood's pre-seed round back in 2021.

That early conviction is paying off. Petgood's latest round values the company at EUR 2 million, double the fund's original EUR 1 million investment, a clean 2.0x mark as of Q2 2026. The company has gone on to raise EUR 5 million in total, bringing in Humbelin and Foodbridge as fellow believers in the later rounds.

Growth here is real. Petgood has created 10 jobs since the investment, real people building a real business around a genuinely different way of feeding pets. The team is also building out its climate impact reporting, with CO2 avoided identified as a core metric to track as the company scales.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Petgood is proof that climate-forward products don't have to ask consumers to compromise. Pet owners get food built for their animal's health; the planet gets a lower-impact supply chain. That combination, better for the pet and better for the planet, is exactly the kind of category-defining bet that takes patient, early capital to get off the ground.
